I Love Thor Donating Member | I have used pantene on Thor and Harry. It does make them sliky soft, and smell sooo good! Well usually I would use the puppy shampoo, so it wouldn't sting their eyes, and then finish with the deep conditioning mask by pantene. I think it all depends on your dogs skin and sensitivity. You know what works well, and what doesn't! |

| My hair stylist would kill me if i used pantene on myself..its actually not good for human hair..it causes buildup. It leaves your hair soft because it leaves a waxy coating on it. LoL I got a 30 min speech when i told her thats what i used. So I wouldn't use it on my ittybit. I'm still looking for a really good shampoo for her. The best I've found so far is FourPaws MagicCoat natural oatmeal shampoo. It doesn't leave her really shiny but it has done wonders for the matting problems we used to have. |

I've not tried Four Paws, but I love Cloudstar's Buddy Wash & Buddy Splash in Rosemary & Mint! Xavier smells fantastic and looks great also since we've used it!!

| When Bella's coat was long it tended to matt easily and I used Pantene deep conditioning mask. It helped a lot. Her hair was super soft.

| Our vet said that baby shampoo is also fine (similar to puppy shampoo) b/c it's tear free. I use Bumble & Bumble conditioner on Roxy and occasionally I gloss her with a John Freida Gloss. I brought the vet both bottles and he said to go for it- both are so gentle they work great. That said, at $50 a bottle, that conditioner had better be good. |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I use several different human grade products on my show Silkies hair...I use Pantene Pro V Daily Mositurizing Shampoo, L'Oreal Vive Pro Body Infusing and Kerastase Ban Mirror shampoos. I switch which ones I use and try to alternate them every other bath in order to get a good mix of shampoos. I have worked with a professional handler and these are the shampoos they have suggested I use on my dogs. I started using them about a month ago now and we have not had any problems. I also use the Biolage Conditioning Balm to condition their hair once a week. I think it depends on the coat texture/type and how often you bath your dog on what you should use.

| I use Pantene and both myself and my baby. She's never had any rash/skin issues. Her hair is always beautiful, soft, and shiny afterwards.

| My breeder recommended Pantene, but I had already bought Pethead "tears for fears" dog shampoo (I love the bedhead products for myself, as I have pretty sensitive skin and can't use Pantene personally). I quick picked up a bottle of Pantene conditioner for long hair, and she is so soft and shiny and smells really yummy ... so I ended up doing dog shampoo, Pantene conditioner as well! |

| I was googling the net and it brought me here. I'm not sure if it's the pool water or just being outside with me around the pool. Anyway, Dexter is getting dry skin from either or from the pool. I was wondering if conditioner would help his dry scalp?

| Sensitive skin Our pup had a beautiful coat and then when she turned 2 she developed hair thinning and had a half-dollar sized bald spot. We have had to treat her with antibiotics and prednisone. We still don't know the exact cause of her issues, but we had to find a hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner. We now use Earthbath Hypoallergenic products and she has done very well with them. She comes out clean but not stripped of oils and conditioned but not coated with anything. Solving her skin issue has been so hard that I don't think I would venture to use Pantene or any other human product. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/Earthbath-Nat...th+conditioner |
