| bows At what age can I start pulling up pepper's hair into a topknot. Her hair isn't long enough right now but I can make a cute pigtail. A woman at petsmart told me the other day that "that is still puppy hair and you shouldn't pull it up yet because It will cause a bald spot". Any truth to this. I so want to dress up my baby. |

| If you can get a pigtail than you can put in a bow. Do be careful with rubber bands, they can pull out hair and be sure not to leave it 24/7 that can cause hair to get knotted, and lead to hair loss.

| As soon as your pup's hair is long enough to get 3 strings up! The sooner the better, just be sure to use a very light bow, and take it off every night!

| Get a good quality grooming band and make sure the topknot isn't too tight. It's best to start doing it as early as possible to get her used to it. |
