| Anybody ever Groomed at PetSmart??? I am going to start as a bather at PetSmart & then go to their Academy for Grooming. I took Cosmetology & I really want to work with animals, so they were quick to hire me which makes me feel really good!!! But, at the same time I am really nervous about this "safety test" that you have to get 100% on. I am really REALLY nervous!!! I wanted to know if anybody has ever taken that test and if they could tell me what its about, if its really hard, how many questions it is and all that. Just so I dont completely stress myself out and know what to look forward to. Thanks for any help in advance

| My cousin is a groomer at PetSmart. She was just like you... she went to school for cosmetology and ended up becoming a groomer instead. She loves animals! I know a few members on here are groomers there. Hope they can answer your question for you. Goodluck!

| I don't think it could be too bad as many people as they go through and some I can't imagine passing. I use to go there but the turn over rate was so bad and my yorkie wasn't gettting good groomings that I finally stopped going there. Now I just go to a regular grooming person that I can depend on. Hope you do good and enjoy it. Maybe in your state they will have a better turn over rate than here.

| I know that its the best PetSmart in its district. They have more groomings in their store a day than most of them combined... They're a good store, but what I am really looking forward to is the after the 2 year contract is up I will be able to even do Grooming myself from home! That would be so great! hehe, I already so some grooming for my Yorkie and my friends dogs... I have a great knack for sculpting... But, I know this is my calling... I just pray that I can pass that safety test I'm so nervous!!!
