My Metro-North ride to Grand Central is about 30-40 minutes also (we took it from North White Plains). From GC, we took 2 different trains to get to Central Park. That took about 25 minutes, and she was in the carrier that whole time. Also, I was glad I had my friend with me, she was able to carry Mckenna for me some of the time. 8 pounds can be alot on your shoulder if you are standing on the subway. | |

| I've taken Paddy on the Metro North, Long Island Rail Road, and just about every subway line in manhattan. He has only barked on a train once ever in reaction to a loud noise. He usually just sleeps lol. I'm not sure if its technically allowed on MN or LIRR but no one has ever said anything to us and usually he is tucked to his dog bag. Glad your trip went well!

| We commute to the City every day. My fiancee carries BeBe our li'l doll every day. Everyone loves her. she stays in her li'l sherpa and sometimes the conductors on Metro North stop to talk about their babies and pet BeBe. BeBe is well behaved and doesn't bark or annoy anyone. Most times she'll play with her bully stick and then just fall asleep. Alot of the comments we get are - Oh boy, I didn't know you had a dog there.... the bag. We can't leave BeBe alone for a minute. She goes with us everywhere. We are fortunate that my finance can take her to work since he works in a small company and the partner is in Florida. We call her our paper weight. She loves interacting with all of his employees. (it's an exterminating co. and my finance has to send out the techs to jobs in the City. I hope this helped. |
