Hi All,
I am posting this review because I highly recommended our Breeder that we purchased our puppy from 6 weeks ago . Tom Becker . With that being said let me give you a little history .... 9 weeks ago we found out our 11 year old puppy had Cancer and very limited time ... I was in search of a puppy to add to our family to help bring companionship & love to our older dog and help our 3 children cope with the upcoming reality of loosing our lil Prince we love with all our hearts . So, with that being said I needed a REPUTABLE BREEDER that I knew was selling us a puppy in good Heath with all records and FULL DISCLOSURE OF FULL FAMILY BLOODLINES & HISTORY . I did ALOT of research and contacted all breeders on the YORKSHIRE TERRIER CLUB OF AMERICA SITE . I even reached out to prior customers . With all this being said to make you aware of how cautious I was and how much time I put into this search, we Found our puppy with Tom . He sat with our family and we found our Pup , our Family of 5 was 100% sure Tom was the one we were meant to find !! He is very professional , educated , and has amazing life experience & love for the breed ! For us this story has an amazing ending and for that we chose to share or recommendation for Tom Becker of WINGOLD YORKIES OF NEW JERSEY.

First time posting, long time yorkie lover (I've had two over my lifetime and am now looking for my third) I am currently looking for a female yorkie puppy. Was wondering if you know anything about this breeder... Mark Carfagus in Jamesville, NY. I got his name off of the AKC website, however he also has a facebook page that he is selling the puppies from which concerns me. However it has been 13 years since I bought my last yorkie pup... so maybe this is now how it goes? If you have any information that would be great.

This Old Stonehouse Farms I cannot find the name of Mark Carfagus connected to this FB page. His website and the FB have different phone numbers. Why do you think he's connected to this Stonehouse farms. His website doesn't have much information on it.

As for the Old Stonehouse Farms just the words of pocket puppies is a RED FLAG. I myself would keep away from them if they are breeding for "pocket puppies".

I googled Mark Carfagus yorkie breeder Jamesville, NY, I found nothing with his name of Jamesville.

I got his name off the AKC breeder page for NY and reached out. He sent me the link to the facebook page. And that is where the "pocket puppies" thing came up. Which red flagged my curiosity. Thanks for checking it out. It's disconcerting that AKC doesn't check out their suggested breeders from their website.

Well if he gave you that FB page I would defiantly stay far away from anyone that advertises "pocket puppies". Good reputable breeders will sometimes have a runt in their litter that will be tiny, but not purposely breed for tiny dogs.

You may have to look outside of NY for a good reputable breeders.

The AKC just registers AKC litters, they do not do background researches on breeders, always best to do what you are doing, research the breeder
