| New Leash Law? So my DH and I were took Maxi for a walk last night and ran into another dog owner who told us that they just passed a law saying that those expandable leashes are illegal now? Dogs must be on a leash of 6 feet or more now. Is this true? Has anyone heard of this? I use the expandable leash because Maxi is so small and I dont want him wandering off on the street. Thanks.. just wondering if this was true.

| I actually really like, I can see my furbaby all the time and make sure he doesnt go too far since he is so small. Also, I am worried poeple will step on him, which they have cause he is so small. Either way, Im not changing mine, they can give me a ticket if they want too lol

| i use an expandable leash. let them ticket the people without a leash first..there are plenty to keep them busy.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i think its a good idea too. there are a lot of idiots who have their unruly dogs on extendable leashes and let them walk up to other dogs unchecked which causes problems and fights. we had an incident like this outside our shop a few weeks ago.
