So my DH and I were took Maxi for a walk last night and ran into another dog owner who told us that they just passed a law saying that those expandable leashes are illegal now? Dogs must be on a leash of 6 feet or more now. Is this true? Has anyone heard of this? I use the expandable leash because Maxi is so small and I dont want him wandering off on the street.
