| NJ Transit with dogs Has anyone taken their dog in a carrier on the Atlantic City line from Philly? I saw in their brochure that they allow small pets in carriers.

| I've taken Duke multiple times on the NJtransit trains from our apartment to my parents'. Duke is usually in his bag sleeping, some conductors would be ok if you let your dog hangs out on your laps while others ask that you keep them in the bag. It's usually a 1hr trip for us and Duke has been doing well with it. Good luck.

| No I take the midtown direct from Manhattan to New Jersey- Are you not supposed to have animals on the train?? He is so quiet- I keep him in his sherpa but usually have him out of his bag until we get on the train depending on the station and no one has ever said anything. When we are on the train I do keep him in the bag the whole time ( for his safety). |

| I hope that you won't have any problems with the conductors. I've done the trip if not weekly then a few times a month back and forth and has not had any problems. I remembered reading somewhere on NJ transit literature that they allow small pets in their carrier to be on the train/buses. Duke has gotten startled a few times while sleeping in his bag and barked but no one seemed to mind. Yes please keep us posted.

| NJ Transit is def ok with dogs as long as they are in a bag/carrier. I've brought my puppy along for many rides, but he sometimes tends to get a little noisy. Have some treats and toys on hand.
