This is reprinted with permission. It came through on the Rescue Yahoo Group I belong with. ANYONE IN NJ WITH INFO - ESPECIALLY ATLANTIC CITY AREA PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH THE ATLANTIC CITY ASPCA. This young/baby Boston Terrier was thrown off the Atlantic City Expressway the night of July 24th at approx. 11pm. Anyone know who this dog belongs to? anyone that had a Boston recently and now don't? Anyone get a plate? PLEASE PLEASE CONTACT THAT ATLANTIC CITY ASPCA. I've attatched pictures. I'm sorry they are a little graphic but I think it's important in case someone recognizes this dog and can help. Thanks. Elaine

Please pass this far and wide if you know anyone who lives in the Atlantic City area. The photos are very graphic. Nancy Beall who is the head Cruelty Officer for Atlantic County sent this to me. This person MUST be caught and brought to justice!!

Do you recognize this dog? Do you know the owner?

This Boston Terrier aged approx. 6 months unaltered, unmicrochipped was allegedly thrown from an overpass in Atlantic City on the Atlantic City Expressway July 24, 2008 at approx.11pm. If anyone has any information Carl Galioto, Chief with the State SPCA will personally pay $1,000 for information leading to a conviction for this crime. Please call (609) 926-9325 or (609) 927-9059.

I don't think it's really a warning. It's been done and the dog is dead. We need help in trying to find who did it. If your pertaining to the pictures. I did apologize for the pictures being graphic but I do think it's important that they are shown. Whoever did this is a violent whether that be one person or two and if they can do it to an animal you can only imagine what they will do to a child. Plus the pictures are small at the bottom so it's by choice to view them. Elaine

Yes i was talking about the picture's There are children that come to this site.

I'm sorry the dog died But The title SHOULD have had a warning!!

I don't think it's by choice Since there was only a Tiny warning Most people go right to the picture's.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but people especially children are curious by nature so even if I had posted a HUGE WARNING I think if anything it would make a child want to look more. You're from NY and the post said NJ so I think that is case in point that people are curious. Sorry if the pictures offended you. I really was just trying to help in getting the word out. And, this is really about helping to prosecute this scum that did this so I really don't want to argue especially on the board so I'm just going to let it ride now. Have a nice night.

i can't stand people - who could do this to a dog!?! it just makes me sick. i hope they catch the person who did this and lock them up.

The level of cruelty that people are capable of never ceases to shock me. How disgusting that these people exist. I hope they find the jerk and bring him/her to justice.

We are certainly hoping for that. A member in our rescue has asked channel 3 news to do a story on it. I believe they will be running it. Hopefully, maybe that will persuade anyone that saw something to come forward. Elaine

My hometown. I am sickened that an innocent helpless animal lost it's life
that way. I hope the people who did this suffer the rest of their lifes
with desease and can't be helped!

I heard about this. It just makes me feel nauseous. That person deserves to be thrown off an overpass into heavy traffic. Some people disgust me.

Doing that to a helpless animal is unthinkable. I can't imagine the cruelty this person or persons are capable of. I hope they catch them and prosecute to the full extent of the law... and then some.

I really hope who ever did this gets held accountable for this!! Maybe someone can throw them over an overpass and see how it feels
