| Wish we could find a pet friendly hotel that... has rooms that don't smell like a wet dog! We have tried two chains so far (last one was La Quinta Inns) and the rooms always smell like wet dogs. We now bring room Deodorizing Spray with us. I would be more then happy to pay a bunch for a room that doesn't smell like a dog! Am I asking tooooo much? Maybe it is just me. We run down to Florida for a few months every year and stay on Route 95 in Georgia close to Florida and when we return to PA we try to stay in Virginia close to Maryland on 95. Maybe it just isn't possible to get a room that doesn't smell like a dog when staying at a pet friendly hotel.

| Clarification - when I say "stay on..." I mean just for one night (wife can't stand driving through).

| Best Western is dog friendly, have you tried them, some may not be right off the interstate, you may have to travel a bit further.

| Will check it out - willing to drive a bit to find a room that doesn't smell like a wet dog. Thanks for the suggestion.
