Have you tried not feeding for two hours before you put the dog in the car? Sometimes if they travel on an empty stomach they don't get carsick.

I just tried the ginger snap cookies today with my Bogie. He gets carsick if we are in the car more than 10-20 minutes. They worked he didn't throw up once and we were out almost 2 hrs. He also hadn't eaten in about 3 hrs too. I have tried not feeding him for a few hrs before riding in the car and he has still gotten sick before. I think it was the ginger snaps, because we didn't do anything else different.

Update: We took a six hour trip to Jackson MS this weekend. I got him a carset before we left. That didn't work. He got sick 4 times before we even left Nashville. So, for the ride home I got him some Drememean (sp). That worked for about 45 minutes then he got sick 4 or 5 times. I'm guessing I didn't give him enough? I gave him a little less than 1/4 of a tablet. Forgot about getting some ginger snap cookies. Will try that next time.
