| SHERPA Carrier/bag delux size recommendations If anyone knows what size Sherpa dog carrier I should buy for a yorkie who should grow to be 5-6 lbs? Small or medium? Is this a good bag to use in a car too? Thanks |

| I would get the medium. I have the small and my 3 lb. Yorkie fits comfortably in it, but there isn't a ton of extra room. I don't think you could go wrong with the medium. We are flying to Florida tomorrow and using our Sherpa for the first time. I am a nervous wreck because I hate to fly and can't imagine what it will be like to fly with Joey. Wish us luck. But the Sherpa is a great carrier.

| I think you would be happier with a medium. We bought ours when Shelby was a puppy.... and I thought it looked big. But now that she is grown.... the medium is MUCH better..... She wouldn't have had any room at all in the small one. As far as using it in a car...... I can't answer that. We use a Snoozer car seat in the car..... which I recommend highly.

| I have the Sherpa medium for Crystal and she was 6 lbs and fit fine under an airline seat. She loved it.
