♥ love my girls!! ♥ Donating Member | Anyone have a Pet Flys Carrier?...NEED INPUT!! I have the small denim Alex bag (Kwigy Bo), but I'm working on finding another puppy this year sometime, and I just don't think both would be able to fly in the Alex....comfy for Bella (4.2 lbs) when we shop, but I just don't think it would work for 2, especially not flying. Sooo, I found a Pet Flys carrier that I really like (the Baby Doe), but I'm just not sure about the size. My Alex bag is 8" high, 5" wide, and ~13" long, and like I said, Bella fits very comfortably in it, at least for shopping anyway. I know the Mini Pet Flys would be too small for 2, but what about the Small? It's 10" high, 9" wide, and 16" long....that's nearly twice as deep. Do you think it would be okay for 2 4-ish lb'ers to fly together?? Which brings me to another question.....I read on one of the airline's pet flight policies anyway, that 2 could be in the same carrier as long as they were the same species and as long as they both had enough room.....but I think it said they both had to be between 8 weeks and 6 months old. Is that right?? Does anyone else fly with 2 that are older than 6 mo.???? That just doesn't seem right to me.....

| I have the small Pet Flys carrier. I think it would work for both my girls (who are right around 5 lbs each) only if it was a short distance. I don't think they would be comfortable if they were in it for too long. You are correct about the airline policy. One person can only fly with two if they are puppies and the same species.

Do you think they would know if a dog was older if it's still very small? Bella is 10 mo. old and is finished growing (I'm pretty sure), but people all the time think she's much younger......maybe that's playing with fire though? It really stinks that they both couldn't come.....

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | As long as they look similar and fit into the bag comfortably you will do okay. |

| Most airlines also have a policy of only two dogs on each flight, so be sure to book early!

Since it's a soft carrier, if it won't fit perfectly, can you squish it just a bit to fit? I was just thinking that 1" wouldn't make any difference to Bella if I had to squish it in, but CAN you do that? I had looked at Northwest's pet travel policies online before, and it says you have to check them....I don't read anywhere that they are allowed in the cabin. Obviously that's not true, though. I guess that goes to show, I definitely need to call to make sure about policies and underseat dimensions BEFORE I book! Thanks!
