I flew from Detroit to Myrtle Beach on a smaller Northwest plane and the small Petflys carrier DID NOT fit under the seat unless tipped on it's side!!!! I have flown Northwest before with this carrier and it fit just fine on the larger plane.
Jodie, you do mean the small (and not the mini) just to clarify? I was actually thinking of buying the medium one (really it's the largest one they sell I guess, but it's labeled "medium") knowing that I would have to tip IT on it's side. The medium one is a little longer and a tiny bit wider/taller, so I figured that would probably be better for 2.

Since it's a soft carrier, if it won't fit perfectly, can you squish it just a bit to fit? I was just thinking that 1" wouldn't make any difference to Bella if I had to squish it in, but CAN you do that?

I had looked at Northwest's pet travel policies online before, and it says you have to check them....I don't read anywhere that they are allowed in the cabin. Obviously that's not true, though. I guess that goes to show, I definitely need to call to make sure about policies and underseat dimensions BEFORE I book! Thanks!
