| Prayers for my family It is hard for me to even post this but my family is hurting so bad, they could use some prayers and any healing thoughts their way. My cousin, who was only 20 was killed in a car accident Monday night. 20 years old.....he was so young. 15 years ago he also lost his father to a tragedy. So now my Aunt is without a husband and a son and his 2 sisters and brother are without a Father and a brother. He was a passenger in the car, the driver is suspected to have been driving under the influence of alcohol and two other young girls who were passengers lost their lives. So many young lives cut short...such senseless tragedy. Thoughts and prayers to the other families who have lost their young children in this horrible accident. When your young you think you'll live forever, but your future is not promised. Hug your loved ones close and tell your teens to never drink and drive or get in a car with someone you even suspect may have had a drink. It's not worth your life, call your family, they rather pick you up and maybe be mad for a day than have to plan your funeral.

| I am very sorry to hear that your family is going through such a tragic loss. So much heartache for your Aunt and her children to have to bear. I will be keeping you and all in my prayers to be comforted. Also, will pray for the other families going through the same sudden loss of their loved one.

| I'm so very sorry for your loss and your aunts. I can't imagine burying one of my sons and they are in their 30's. I pray for peace and direction for your family and the other families involved in this devastating situation. |

| Thank you all for your prayers. We are all still trying to come to terms with this terrible tragedy. His funeral is coming up on Thursday, my family is doing a fundraising BBQ and a gofund me to raise money for the funeral- they weren't thinking about life insurance for a 20 year old....I'm trying to get with my work to take some time off to go. I am just heartbroken, that's the only word I can find....heartbroken.

When I was married and a young parent of a small child, I was always the one to think about "what if's", and "how would I pay for that".... So I went to get a life insurance policy on my child when he was about 8 years old....ended up in an insurance investigation situation....long story short, I guess they thought I was insuring my child so I could turn around and kill him for the money.....you go into something completely innocent and OMG! the thought processes that some people develop around what you have tried to do.....I clearly remember the insurance investigator telling me, "People just do not think about buying life insurance on young adults, let alone children....it is just not something that most people think about.....that is what prompted us to investigate this situation"...... And yet, here we have a situation where unfortunately, it is something that would have really helped out in such a terrible tragedy. What about any kind of automobile insurance policies.....my insurance policy covers any rider in my auto that is killed/injured....I think most policies do.....be sure in all this tragedy and sorrow, someone remembers to look at insurance on that car he was in....as well as the other car. Praying for your family.....so very, very sad..... | |
