I am just heartbroken, that's the only word I can find....heartbroken.
Most of us do not even go there with those thoughts when our kids are hitting young adulthood.....how tragic an event for your family.....please know all of our hearts are heavy for your during this tragedy......praying for peace and comfort for your family....

When I was married and a young parent of a small child, I was always the one to think about "what if's", and "how would I pay for that".... So I went to get a life insurance policy on my child when he was about 8 years old....ended up in an insurance investigation situation....long story short, I guess they thought I was insuring my child so I could turn around and kill him for the money.....you go into something completely innocent and OMG! the thought processes that some people develop around what you have tried to do.....I clearly remember the insurance investigator telling me, "People just do not think about buying life insurance on young adults, let alone children....it is just not something that most people think about.....that is what prompted us to investigate this situation"...... And yet, here we have a situation where unfortunately, it is something that would have really helped out in such a terrible tragedy. What about any kind of automobile insurance policies.....my insurance policy covers any rider in my auto that is killed/injured....I think most policies do.....be sure in all this tragedy and sorrow, someone remembers to look at insurance on that car he was in....as well as the other car.

Praying for your family.....so very, very sad.....
