| Haden Update Thank you for your continued prayers and concern. Went to visit Haden last night. I told Haden about your prayers and he smiled and said THANK YOU! He has been moved from Pediatric ICU to a regular room. His condition is improving - thanks in huge part to prayer warriors from YT. He is misrable, to say the least. Doctors are forbidding him from eating or drinking so he is hungry and thirsty Bless his heart, he can't even suck on ice cubes. He was chewing gum last night, but whether with his nurse's permission, but whether he is allowed to continue chewing gum will depend on his doctor's visit today. He is being fed by IV nutrients directly into his blood system so that it completely bypasses his entire gastric system. He has a tube running through his nose and down this throat - if I'm not mistaken it is to remove anything so that nothing passes by the tear in his small intestine. The tube makes his throat hurt. He is still scheduled for another CAT-Scan on Monday and if there is no leakage they will start introducing foods very slowly. Starting with sips of clear liquids and if all goes well they will progress from there as his system can tolerate it. As it looks right now, Haden may be released towards the middle to the end of next week. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR CONTINUED PRAYERS. |

| Oh dear, Cindy, just saw this. Poor Haden! He must be. Real trooper to make it through all the restrictions, especially the not eating thing for a teenage boy! Of course, they can't put too much stress on that tear until they see it is healing, and then it will be slow going for a while. Am praying for his full recovery so and getting back to exercising your Mini for you Keep us posted. Blessings to you all.

| Awful to see a kid downed with anything - they just break your heart! I'm so glad he's doing much better and maybe going home soon. Thanks to all the prayer warriors and that dedicated medical team.

YT 2000 Club Member | dog Hayden has been on my heart and in prayers a lot. I am so glad he is improving. Young people do heal up quickly and I am thankful they did not have to go in and do surgery. After what he has been through he deserves a great shopping day to go get the item of his choice! I wish I could send him a present, I am so proud of him for enduring this painful time. Hayden, you are a trooper! My nephew went through a liver transplant at 15 and it was more difficult on the family. That kid set his eyes on getting out and he amazed everyone, so I bet Hayden will amaze all of you too! |

| Thank you for your continued prayers. Just got home from visiting Haden. Bless his heart - he really feels rotten. He's not in that much pain, except for his throat hurting from the tube, but he is absolutely miserable. Of course he is being fed through IV, so he really doesn't need anything, but the mental hunger and thirst are really getting him down. The doctor is allowing him hard candy, so I took him a 5 lb. bag of Jolly Ranchers. He felt so bad that he didn't even want one . Hopefully he will be healed enough by Monday that the tube will be removed and he will get to start on "clear liquids" which will include a popsicle which he desperately wants for his throat. It is heart breaking to see a teen that you dearly love laying so miserable in a hospital bed! |

| My heart goes out to Haden. Such a tough situation to have to endure. Tubes are never fun. Praying the next scan gives him some oral liquids. He is ever on my mind so appreciate you keeping us posted. Hoping he is back to a normal diet by the time Holiday Goodies come around

YT 2000 Club Member | dog Can Hayden have earphones and listen to the radio? Kids his age love their music. I am sorry he is feeling bad but it is only temporary. Soon he will be better and able to eat his popsicles. Try to keep positive with him. It helps to encourage and not let him get on the down side of things. I am praying for his complete recovery. |
