Thank you for your continued prayers. Just got home from visiting Haden. Bless his heart - he really feels rotten. He's not in that much pain, except for his throat hurting from the tube, but he is absolutely miserable. Of course he is being fed through IV, so he really doesn't need anything, but the mental hunger and thirst are really getting him down.
The doctor is allowing him hard candy, so I took him a 5 lb. bag of Jolly Ranchers. He felt so bad that he didn't even want one
. Hopefully he will be healed enough by Monday that the tube will be removed and he will get to start on "clear liquids" which will include a popsicle which he desperately wants for his throat.
It is heart breaking to see a teen that you dearly love laying so miserable in a hospital bed!
