Thank you all for your support, it truly helps me make it through the day.

I think it will take a while to realize that she is gone. My brothers and I spent much of the day talking about the good memories, and what an amazing, giving, Mom we had. We were blessed, and learned so much from her that we will carry all through our lives.

I was going through pictures looking for one for the obituary, and smiled dozens of times at all of the great memories of fun times I had with her, especially when she came to Maui once or twice a year. It helped wash away the sadness, and give me a calm feeling of peace, and gratitude that she is in a better place now and not suffering.

Sandy I am so very sorry for your tremendous loss. Your Mom will always be with you ! May she Rest in peace. Her light shine on you everyday.

Sandy, I am very sorry for your loss. Your mom was obviously a great parent to have raised a daughter who is intelligent, strong, kind and compassionate. I'm glad you and your brothers have many happy memories of her to share.

Saying goodbye to a parent is not easy at any age. I don't believe we are ever ready to let them go, as I saw with my dad and his mom who was in her 90s. Dad is 75 and still misses his mom, misses making her laugh.

Sandy I am so very sorry for the passing on you mom. Hold all of those wonderful memories that made you smile close to your heart. You were so lucky to have such a wonderful loving mother. Prayers for you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss.....try to celebrate the ending of her struggles and the beginning of her restoration.....I am praying for His comfort and strength to light your darkest pathway now.....your precious momma is in The Light now, free from pain and breathing effortlessly.....hold that Promise close to your heart and lean on Him now! He has taken your momma and made her healthy and free from sorrow and fatigue and pain....He is there for you now also!

Oh Sandy, my heart is breaking for you.:cry: I remember when my Mom died it was just so hard to think of her not being there to turn to for advise and have fun with. It's just so difficult but I just know, she will be with you in spirit. She raised a wonderful daughter, knowing that I know she was able to go in peace. Hugs to you and your family, Sandy. RIP Pat.

Hope you got my message before I left for a week to care for a dog, it ended up being much more this time than I ever dreamed.

Oh Sandy, my sympathy and sorrow to you and your family. She is at peace now and you have yet another guardian angel. It is never easy to let a loved one go...my thoughts are with you. No more pain, no more illness...may she rest in peaceful sleep.

I am just now seeing this and I am so very sorry Sandy. I am glad that you were with her and that you got to tell her goodbye on last time. That small task can be such a meaningful thing and can make such a huge difference in our lives. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayer!!

Dear Sandy.
I am so very sorry to hear of the sad passing of your beloved mom. I have just read your thread and see that she had endured so much pain and suffering recently and now she is in heaven, with all the misery gone and with her passed family to welcome her. The loss of your mom is devastating and your grief unbearable at this time. May your dear mom rest in peace and I pray that God gives you strength to get through this.
