Thank you all for your support, it truly helps me make it through the day. I think it will take a while to realize that she is gone. My brothers and I spent much of the day talking about the good memories, and what an amazing, giving, Mom we had. We were blessed, and learned so much from her that we will carry all through our lives. I was going through pictures looking for one for the obituary, and smiled dozens of times at all of the great memories of fun times I had with her, especially when she came to Maui once or twice a year. It helped wash away the sadness, and give me a calm feeling of peace, and gratitude that she is in a better place now and not suffering. |
Sandy I am so very sorry for your tremendous loss. Your Mom will always be with you ! May she Rest in peace. Her light shine on you everyday. |
Sandy, I am very sorry for your loss. Your mom was obviously a great parent to have raised a daughter who is intelligent, strong, kind and compassionate. I'm glad you and your brothers have many happy memories of her to share. Saying goodbye to a parent is not easy at any age. I don't believe we are ever ready to let them go, as I saw with my dad and his mom who was in her 90s. Dad is 75 and still misses his mom, misses making her laugh. Rest in peace, Pat. |
