Your words were so real and genuine and spoken from the heart and mean so much coming from another woman with this awful diagnosis. My mom had the same surgery and radiation and hers was very tough but she made it through and never looked back.

I'm doing great and looking to my faith in God and support system to get me through the treatments and on past. God bless you for working with hospice patients because they need more than they can ever get in the way of help and companionship in 99% of the cases, I am certain. I'm sure the sight of you coming in the room is a big blessing every single time you appear. Your sweet spirit no doubt touches each one you work with in a very special way.

Thank you for the wonderful thoughts and beautiful words and I can't tell you what they mean to me - that you took the time to share your story so I'll feel encouraged. It worked - I do! You've always been such a kind person on YT and once again, your nature comes through and I so appreciate it. Thank you more than I can say.

Call your doctor and ask for calming medication. I did that and it really helped me get through things. You will be so strong and you will meet angel nurses along the way. Thanks, ladies. The pain was only bad for 2 hours and then the pain shots took good care of it and it never returned! Just stinging and soreness so all these good thoughts and prayers and wishes have worked 100%. Bless you for them!

It was amazing how quickly the pain and fuzziness of surgery went away and how good I felt that afternoon and evening and ever since. I'm putting a great deal of the credit right to you all with all those prayers and good wishes coming my way.

Sorry to take so long to reply but am getting to your posts little by little as I can and sorry to be repetitive but I just can't say it enough - thank you for these great thoughts and prayers and messages of comfort and support, which, I truly believe, played a huge part in how well I did and am doing. I read these messages after getting home and just kept smiling and tearing up. Most people probably aren't doing a lot of that the afternoon of this kind of surgery but you all kept me upbeat and stronger than I naturally am.
