Jeanie we didn't get a good report except that it is in the first stage, he will have another test on jan.7th..and then they will decide what treatment he will get..they told us that it will either be radiation or surgery removing half of the left lower lobe...please keep us in your prayers

I always take a moment when I hear the word cancer to envision the day we have a cure.

I am going to pray for strength for you to handle all this. You must be strong for him. It is very difficult being the caregiver. Cherish each day and know that you are not alone in this. Jesus promised He would never leave us or forsake us. Believe that. Call upon Hin and you will feel his peace come over you. He will carry you at this time. Make your dear husband as comfortable as possible. He should be considered for hospice. It is up to the dr. Hospice nurses are experts in pain management and you do not want him in pain. I pray you will walk through this with him and really get on your knees and get that strength. You can do all things through Christ Who will strengthen you. That is His promise to us.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Betty. It is so terrible what this disease does to people, their lives and their minds- the fear, the loss of hope. You hear that awful word and the world ends for a few moments everyone says. I know there are such wonderful treatment programs now that can make ALL the difference and hopefully your dh can go into total, permanent remission after his. Please hold onto hope and know that we are all here for you as you support him through this.
