Thanks friends, I try to stay strong for him, but when I am alone, I break down and cry. This is so scary. I only have sons so they spend time with their Dad and I am alone some. My son from NY came home to help. I always stayed away from reading about things like this, hoping it never happened to us. But here it is...

I am so very sorry and i know first hand what you are going through, I lost my first DH in 1990 to cancer and like your DH 's it had spread by the time we knew he was sick..I will pray for you and your family it is a very hard battle, but we have to be strong for them they depend on us so much.


My present DH had a lung biopsy last week, we go back to Nashville,Tn tomorrow for his results..I am depending on the Lord to get us through this and he will

I am so sorry to hear this. My mom lost her husband and my father after 28 years of marriage to stage iv colon cancer. It's incredibly hard watching a loved one suffer through that and I want to know you are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong!

Keeping you and your hubby in my prayers. I believe GOD'S giving us tears is HIS way in helping us to release our inner feelings and get through the difficult times, I understand the meaning of feeling alone, I have been going through this for sometime with my Jack.

Oh, Betty! I missed this before. Oh, I'm so sorry to hear dh had to have a biopsy. Did they find a lump or mass on x-ray or something? I am praying for your sweet dh that it is just one of those lumps and masses that we do grow from time to time and don't ever turn into anything more. I have a nodule in a lung, said to appear benign and not enough size or suspicious appearance to warrant further testing right now. My internist said humans do just grow things in lungs and organs at times. Let us know the moment you get the results, Betty.
