Patti I am just now seeing this. I'm sending out lot's of prayers for Jessica. I pray they can find out what the problem is.

We got the MRI results and it showed fluid in her knee which we expected, but no other abnormalities. So they think it's the RA. They are not recommending surgery at this time which is good. Thanks for the prayers and thoughts.

Oh, Patti, I'm sorry she's going to have to have surgery but sometimes when in such pain, it is welcome if it will help. I pray it helps her a whole lot! Maybe another synovectomy and good clean-out to get all that overgrown and overly inflammed, irritated tissue out of the joint will help a lot.

I hope I did not sound rude in past post about fluid color, I was really just trying to get across that maybe a 2nd opinion was needed is all. I tend to keep fluid on my one knee all the time so that is part of the reason they love to test me for RA all the time and I would hate to think she had knee surgery when not needed because once you start messing with the knees it is a lifelong battle it seems. But truly happy to hear they are not going in again.

I have heard of the Nopalea. I am going to show her this. The only thing that concerns me is it says it boosts the immune system and she is on drugs to suppress her immune system. I don't know if she can be on both. I will look in to it. Thanks

Patti, I am so very sorry to hear about Jessica's ongoing knee problems. I understand how frustrating it is to have a chronic problem that doctor's just can't seem to get a handle on. I will definitely keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
