Oh, Patti, I'm sorry she's going to have to have surgery but sometimes when in such pain, it is welcome if it will help. I pray it helps her a whole lot! Maybe another synovectomy and good clean-out to get all that overgrown and overly inflammed, irritated tissue out of the joint will help a lot.
