Thanks. Ken had the scan this morning and we get results tomorrow at his chemo appointment. I am so hoping and praying for good news. All of your prayers mean so much. I will post tomorrow night when we get home from chemo.

Ken's CT scan showed the cancer was stable. Which means the chemo is working at keeping it from growing. So that was good news. His white cells were too low to have chemo again so we have to go back Wednesday and see if he can get the chemo. So that was a little disappointing. They gave him IV fluids for dehydration. We didn't have the regular oncologist but his Physicians Assistant and she was more detailed in her responses and Ken got pretty freaked out. His regular doctor has always been real positive and knows we don't want prognosis. She came right out and told Ken he would never be cured but to treat it like a chronic illness. I knew that but Ken didn't and now he is pretty depressed. I told him stable is very good after 3 treatments. Hopefully when he gets over the shock he will feel better and ready to fight some more. Thanks for the prayers they are working!

The chronic illness means not terminal. That is what they told me when my dh was diagnosed. I though about it a while and I asked... like being diabetic? If you take care, eat right, take meds, go for check ups you will be ok. Our doctor said, that was a great analogy! So I would say that is good news!!
