We are still praying for you and for Ken. God bless you both with some really good news soon.:thumbup: |
Keeping you and Ken in my thoughts and prayers and hoping for good news! |
Patti, you and Ken are always in my prayers, and I just wanted to remind you of that because I'm not on YT as much lately due to work. Please remind Ken and yourself to ask for the help you need in the way of meds. They have a pill for about everything, and are so happy to have you present a symptom that they can help in some way, especially for nausea, pain, anxiety and sleep. Get all the help you need, ok. Hugs always. |
Prayers and hugs going your way Patti, hoping for great news on Wednesday. |
Patti i am still keeping you & Ken in my thoughts & prayers..hugs to you both |

Patti, I haven't been on here for quite a while so I am just now seeing this and have read through the whole thread. I'm so sorry you are having to deal with SO much. I really, really hate cancer. I'm glad some of the meds are working to bring relief to Ken. Are you taking care of yourself? Eating and getting rest? Do you have people to help you out with the furkids and house, etc?? You now have my prayers added to the many others going up for you and Ken. I ask that the Lord will give you strength and peace. He said he would give us peace that world cannot give. I pray for healing and renewal for Ken's body. You both are very blessed to have found someone you can spend your lives with and be so much in love....what a gift. I pray that love and the Lord's love will surround you and carry you through. BIG hugs to both of you. :girl_hug: |
Just wanted to let you know that you're both in my heart, thoughts and daily prayers. I'm so sorry that things aren't going as well as hoped for, but glad to see some progress is being made. Hugs to you, dear, and extra prayers to keep you strong. You've always given so much of yourself to help others... you totally amaze me! Sending Love and Hugs, Kathy |
Will be praying. :) |
Thinking of you |
You are both in my prayers . |
Thanks. We had a bad scare today. Ken had a 1 pm CT scan appt. When we got to the hospital he said he was numb from his waist down. I got him in a wheel chair and into the radiology dept. I was hoping he would get the feeling back if I could get him to walk a little. He refused to let me tell anyone at the hospital and said he would not be admitted. The guy came to take him for the scan about 15 minutes later and he still had no feeling. When he came back from the scan we were in the room getting him dressed and I had him stand a bit and he said the feeling was coming back. So he pushed the wheel chair to the entrance and I left him there to go get the car and when I got back he was trying to walk to the car and was staggering. Luckily the valet guys saw him just as I was pulling up and grabbed him and got him in a wheelchair and in to my car. By the time we got home he was back to normal. He has been fine ever since. I don't know if it was a stress thing, a side effect of the chemo or his peripheral artery disease. He goes for his second round of chemo tomorrow and i have heard it is usually harder than the first one. We may also get the CT scan results. We really appreciate all the prayers and really need them. Thanks Connie for being a phone call away anytime. |
Patti, I can imagine how scared you were. Relieved to hear that Ken has feeling back in legs. Sending prayers that he does well with the second round of chemo and that the CT scans bring encouraging news. |
Oh dear Patti, I am constantly praying for Ken to pull thru this and for you to be strong to support him emotionally. You two are a team, and my heart goes out to you. Sending you lot of :hug::big_hug: :hands::hands::hands: |
I will be praying for Ken today. So glad the feeling in his legs returned. May God keep him in His hands today and protect him from the side effects of the chemo. |
