Cindy,

I'll be definitely saying an extra prayer for you. I know it's something you are not looking forward to but once it's all over...it'll be so worth it. You'll be good as new.

I just thought of something else you could dress up your hardware with...fringe like the flappers from the 20s...you could be movin' and groovin'.

Gosh, Cindy...I feel so bad for you! I will pray that the surgery is successful and that you have very little pain and heal quickly. Hugs to you and I'll be thinking of you! It's so unbelievable that that titanium rod broke! Best wishes, dear friend!

Thank you, Connie. The titanium plate broke because my leg never healed. The constant pressure of me walking around on a leg with multiple unhealed breaks was just too much for even Mr. Titanium.

I KNEW I needed to lose weight - this is truly embarrassing

Fantastic idea! Maybe metalic fringe with some BELLS -- I could be a walking windchime. I'm gonna do it! I'll add something new every day! Give me something to do. Just think how exotic I'll look!

I'm so happy to know that you will finally be pain free!!

Bear in mind ... when you are decorating your "cage", carefully consider the bells or anything that clinks, just in case you want do anything that your "keepers" don't approve of ... they will know where you are at all times!!

Seriously, I will be praying that all goes well and you will be pain free and mobile in no time at all.
