Thanks everyone for your love and support. Surgery is scheduled for this Friday, I have to be at the hospital at 5:15 am -- yikes! Pre-op tests today. Thankfully my daughter and grandson came down for the weekend - that proved to be a wonderful distraction. My stomach is in knots. I am very nervous, afraid, concerned, and not looking forward to surgery! I know it is the right thing to do and hopefully this time next year I'll be a healthier and happier person than I am now.

Wishing you well with your upcoming surgery! I had a total hip surgery back in Dec of 2010 and it took a bit of coming back for me. So stay positive and your doc tells you that you will be right back to your regular activities soon after your stitches are out!!! So that is a very positive plus for you too!

Everytime you get nervous and worried about the surgery, just stop and have a list of positive and happy thoughts to replace them with and faith in yourself about how you will be accomplishing all your routine and new fun things in your life!

I was hoping you'd say you weren't nervous, but you must be a bit like me and get yourself worked up more as time passes. I totally understand! Sending my prayers that you will come through with flying colors. I just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you and wish you the very best.
