Cindy, I am so sorry for the loss of your father in law. Does your MIL live near by you and your family so you can visit often?

You're right, nothing you can do will make her sorrow lessen - it's a tough part of life. She is blessed to have you for a DIL.

Cindy, I am so sorry to hear of your families loss. I can understand your pain as we just lost my FIL in July...also to brain cancer that originated with lung cancer. Your days ahead will be difficult for your MIL. We live next door to my MIL and I have tried to fill her time but it is just not the same. I have always believed that everything happens for a reason and now I think that when I lost my job it was to help with my family. My prayers will be with you as you face the difficult days ahead.

I wanted to thank my wonderful YT family for your prayers and positive thoughts. Last week was very difficult. At times it was filled with unsurmountable grief over the loss of Hubert and at other times it was filled with genuine laughter in remembering this kind and gentle man who adored my Mother-In-Law. Hubert will be missed, but he has left us with so many joyful memories that will help to fill the hole his passing left.

Again, I sincerely thank each and every one of you for your posts and prayers.
