Thanks so much Connie for all of your updates. I'm sure keeping Patti and Jack in my thoughts and prayers. |
Checking each day for news on Pattie & Jack. Oh gosh, what an ordeal.....one thing after another, good news then not so good. Still saying prayers that any of Jack's improvements from now on will stay that way and keep getting better. |
Oh no. I just feel so bad for them. They are truly a role model for what a marriage should be. I am praying everyday for them both. Thanks Connie for the updates and being there for Patti |
We keep praying for the best possible outcome for all!!! |
Just saw this thread for the first time and read all the updates. As I read, my heart was breaking for this family, but I quickly felt relief in knowing that prayers are being sent, for He hears. I am touched by Patti's strength and the love they both share. Hold onto that Love and God's love, as we all will continue to pray. God bless you both! |
I talked to Patti a little while ago. She says she is not going to leave Jack's side. I don't know how much longer she can hold up with little to none sleep. She doesn't yet know about the chest x-ray, but will find out in the morning. They are giving him meds to hopefully slow down the bleeding in the brain. She is having a time with him tonight because he is so restless and she has to try to keep him from pulling out IV's and also, his one arm is supposed to stay in a sling and not be moved so the pacemaker doesn't get disturbed. She was going to go and ask for help when we hung up. He is still having memory loss and doesn't know what things are...or uses the wrong word when he says something. He sometimes thinks Patti is his sister. I pray there is better news in the morning. Patti asked me to thank you all for your prayers. Poor Patti...she sounds so beat. |
My heart goes out to Patti! Are her kids still with her or did they have to return home? I am hoping she has some friends and/or family that will insist on her getting rest herself. I wouldn't want to leave my husband's side either. God bless them! |
Connie thank you so much for updating all of us. Keeping Patti and Jack in my thoughts and prayers. |
I'm worried that Patti's own health will suffer if she doesnt try and get some rest...although I'm sure the last thing she's thinking about at the moment is herself, and I know I wouldnt want to leave my husband's side either. I'm continuing to pray for them both xxx |
I just now found this thread and read the whole thing. Wow, what a horrible thing to happen. I hope both Jack and Patty will find the strength they need to get through all this. We're thinking of you... |
I continue to pray for Patti and Jack. I am so sorry to read that he has had some more setbacks. I pray that the pacemaker will start working properly and that Jack will make a speedy recovery. |
Thank you once again Connie for your update. I am happy to see his surgery for the pace maker went ok. Patti needs to get some rest before she callapses and then she will be sick as well. What a living nightmare for them. Oh heavens, I'll keep praying for them. |
My thoughts and prayers are still with Patti and Jack! I really hope to hear better news soon for them both, they deserve to be home, healthy and happy. |
Just talked with Patti. Jack's heart is doing fine with the pacemaker and she is taking him home today. She is upset with the lack of help at the hospital and figures Jack will do better at home. She asked me to ask you all to pray that Jack improve in the communication skills...that he will understand her when she talks to him and that she can better understand him. She thanks you all for your continued prayers! |
That's wonderful news that Jack is coming home today, does that mean the bleeding has stopped in his brain? Will keep both of them in my prayer's. I hope Patti can get some much due sleep when she returns home as well. |
