Prayers going out to Patti, Jack and their family. |
Jack's heart has straightened out and not done that pausing now for the rest of the day. He is going home tomorrow by ambulance. Patti was getting the place ready and then going to spend the night at the hospital again. He will go home by ambulance which seems the best plan for transporting him. Please pray all goes smoothly and that Jack shows improvement with being in his own home. I do have to admit, I'm worried about Patti overdoing it with caring for him and please pray she has the strength to carry on. Thanks to all. Someday Patti will get on here and say thanks herself, but for now, she wants you to know how much she appreciates your prayers! |

Praying for Jack and Patti:hands::hands::hands: |
Still praying here for Patti and Jack..... |
Praying Jack gets home today and improves each day. Patti will at least get to sleep at home and hopefully get some rest while the caregivers are there. It is all to common for the caregiver to overdo it and end up sick themselves. |
Jack is back to having problems with his heart stopping. Last night it quit for 6 minutes! Patti and I didn't talk long as she had to get off the phone and tend to Jack. It could be that he will need a pacemaker to keep his heart from stopping. I will update when I hear. Please pray! |
Prayers for Patti & Jack...Thanks for all your updates Connie. I so hope that everything works out for this wonderful sweet & caring couple! Kay |
When it rains, it pours! They are taking Jack back into the ICU unit. They will be doing a cat scan and also Xrays to check for pneumonia because he has started coughing and throwing up. The doctor isn't sure if the heart stopping is from the brain injury and said it likely is and then he'd need a pacemaker. Patti said to please pray. She's so exhausted...I could tell it in her voice. She was planning to take Jack home today and now this. |
My prayer's will continue for both of them. I hope Jack does not need surgery after all he's been through. How disappointing to them thinking he was coming home and now this. Please be strong for each other. Please Lord watch over these two special people and keep them both safe. :hands: |
*update* Jack is in a very critical situation right now. At this time, they are putting a temporary pacemaker in to keep his heart beating. His CAT scan showed an increased bleeding in the brain, and he may need to have brain surgery today! My gosh! Talk about a set back! He was put into ICU CCU and Patti and her daughter were told to keep rubbing his face and talking to him. They did that until they took him for the temporary pacemaker. I suppose later on, they would put a permanent one in, but for now, it had to be done quickly. This is so scary for Patti and family. Patti doesn't know about the chest Xray yet to see if he has any pneumonia. Please keep them in your thoughts and pray for Jack's healing and Patti's strength to endure. She's had no sleep to speak of since Jack's fall. |
sending continued prayers and love... |
