I hope you don't mind, but I have a bunch of questions. How long has he been on dialysis? Has he ever had hemo or just peritoneal? Is the donor a family member or was he on a waiting list? If the list, how long was he on it before there was a donor? What types of tests did they do to find a match? Sorry for all the questions. You don't have to answer all of them, if any, if you don't want. I was just curious.

I don't have much information for you. Neil is DH's cousin and they live on the other side of the state. I know that he has not come to the family picnic's or any other events for the past 3 years because of his health. His wife has kept us updated. I do know that the donor was a family friend.
I wish that I had a few more answers. I'll ask your questions after things settle down with them.

Neil went home this morning. I talked to his daughter and he's doing so much better. Thank you to all.
