| Twinkle is missing....I'm sick with worry...please send me good thoughts My darling little Twinkle is missing and I feel like I'm dying. This morning (about* half nine) my MIL came round and offered to walk Twinkle as my youngest daughter has a cough and I didnt want to take her out in the cold. I didnt realise that she attached the lead to her collar (its a stretchy cat-collar that she wears coz it has her ID tags on) instead of putting her harness on her. Ten minutes later my MIL was back, sobbing her heart out and without Twinkle. On the way to the park a spaniel began barking at Twinkle and startled her...she managed to wriggle her head out of her collar and ran off. It's now half 12 and I don't have my baby back in my arms. I'm beside myself, I'm crying as I type this and I've thrown up twice. As soon as MIL told me I told her stay with the kids and I ran towards the park.....I've searched everywhere....my house backs onto alot of farmland and I've walked as far as I could. My husband came home from work and has gone out to search now. I've knocked on doors.....hardly anyone is home, I've asked strangers in the street if they've seen her, I went to my vets (it's only five mins from my house) and asked them to look out incase anyone finds her and brings her in. She isn't microchipped coz I was gonna have it done when I had her spayed......she has no ID tags on now. I typed out fliers and put them through doors and my husband is gonna stick some to lampposts. Please send me some prayers and good thoughts....I feel like my heart's been ripped out....I'm sick to my stomach...I don't know what else to do. Thanks in advance...I will keep u all posted.

| Oh my gosh. I am so So SO sorry to hear about Twinkie. I was going to suggest making flyers....so good for you for already doing that. I would also go around to as many neighbors as possible and talk to them and hand them a flyer. That way you have personally contacted that many more people that will be on the look out for her. Can you place an ad in a local paper or on a local radio station? I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers and please do keep us posted.

| I am so sorry. I have been there and I know it is devestating. It sounds like you are doing all the right things. As far as flyers go....flood the area! We put up 1.000 fliers the last time Maddie ran away. (She was with someone who was sitting her while we were going on vacation, so she didn't know the neighborhood at all) One other thing I'd suggest...if Twinkle has a blanket or something with her smell on it, put it outside, like on a porch banister or something. Dogs have an incredible sense of smell and it may help her find her way home. Most of all just keep looking. She may be scared and hiding. Walk around with her favorite treat. And keep praying. I'll be praying for you. Good luck.
