I am so glad to hear that your daughter's latest surgery went well. The pictures you posted are heartwarming and show what Christmas is all about....family and love. With all that Michelle has been through, she looks great in the pictures and happy to have her family by her side.

Hugs to all of you and prayers that improvements continue through the remaining holiday season and into the new year!

I just wanted to let you all know that Michelle finally got to go home yesterday. I pray that she will continue to strengthen and not have any more setbacks. All of your well wishes and prayers got us through this and they are so much appreciated. Hugs to all.

How wonderful for her to be home for Christmas. I'll continue to pray it all goes well. Did the Dr's say it looked hopeful?

The doctors have not even discussed any future surgeries Michelle might need. They just want to get her over all the problems associated with these last surgeries. At this point the remainder of the tumor does not seem to be causing any problems. I think the doctors will just give her time to heal then evaluate the situation. I am praying the tumor will not grow anymore and that she will not require anymore surgeries.

I will pray that as well. Her husband and children must be in 7th heaven to have her home and especially for the holidays. They say that attitude is half the battle in recovery from any illness and she certainly has that. We will continue to pray but just enjoy and "One Day At A Time" Hugs

That is really great news!!! I will pray Michelle continues to gain strength and that the worst is behind her. She has been through so much.

Michelle is still home but has not been feeling all that great. She is having a hard time dealing will all the nausea and pain in her head. It is very difficult for her to walk around much because that is when she really starts feeling sick. She is also having a hard time sleeping at night. She still feels like too much fluid is draining from her head. The doctors just keep telling her it will take time for her body to adjust. I pray they are right because Michelle said she can't imagine living like this. Michelle was on a lot of morphine when she was in the hospital so part of her problem might be withdrawal symptoms. Right now she is just taking nausea medicine and something for pain but I can't remember what it is. Her stomach is very bruised and sore from the surgery. Michelle said they had to 'blow up' her stomach to put the valve in.

Michelle and I are so grateful for all of you and all the wonderful prayers and well wishes. I pray that all of you have a blessed and prosperous New Year. (((Hugs to all)))

That poor dear, how hard for her. Barbara I wanted to get to you to let you know my computer is about to crash even with all the cleaning i have done. I will be back since I hope to purchase a Dell in a couple months. I promise to continue to pray for her and her family....that means you too Barbara.
