I am so sorry for everything your daughter and your family have gone through. I will absolutely say some prayers today and in the future for her recovery and comfort, and for all of you supporting her through this.

I think of you and Michelle so often and remember her in prayer. I feel so bad for the pain and problems she has had to endure for so long. I hope this new set of doctors will be a good thing and they will come up with some answers that the others couldn't put a finger on. I also hope the medicare deal goes through quickly! Hugs to you!

Michelle and David got a call from the hospital today and they asked that Michelle come back to the hospital. The doctor that met with Michelle last week had consulted with the new head doctor of the incoming team and they have decided to run a few more tests. If all goes as planned the doctors will take out the shunt that is in her spine and put a new adjustable shunt in her head. We are all praying this will work. The new doctor assured Michelle that they (the doctors) are all the best of the best and that in all his years of practice he has never seen a case like Michelle's either. Hopefully the surgery will be done sometime this week. I will keep you all posted as I learn more.

Michelle has been in horrible pain lately. She was able to make it to church yesterday morning but it is just very difficult for her to deal with the pain. At least the nausea is not as bad as it was. Thank you all for your continued prayer and well wishes.

Thank you for keeping us up on Michelle's care. This sounds hopeful and with her in such pain I hope they get to it as soon as possible. Hang in there Barb, they are bound to hit on the correct treatment soon. Pls. tell Michelle we are praying but I'm sure she knows we wouldn't forget her or you. Hugs

Did she already return to the hospital? When will the surgery take place?

Michelle is in the hospital now. The doctor has ordered another ct scan and mri. The surgery is scheduled for sometime tomorrow if all goes well with the testing. We don't have a set time. They are planning to take out the shunt in her spine then they will be drilling a hole in her head and place a adjustable shunt in her head. It sounds very complicated. Michelle is in a lot of pain and her vision is becoming blurry. I will let you know when she goes into surgery.

Thank you all for your prayers, they mean so much to us.
