Michelle and David got a call from the hospital today and they asked that Michelle come back to the hospital. The doctor that met with Michelle last week had consulted with the new head doctor of the incoming team and they have decided to run a few more tests. If all goes as planned the doctors will take out the shunt that is in her spine and put a new adjustable shunt in her head. We are all praying this will work. The new doctor assured Michelle that they (the doctors) are all the best of the best and that in all his years of practice he has never seen a case like Michelle's either. Hopefully the surgery will be done sometime this week. I will keep you all posted as I learn more.
Michelle has been in horrible pain lately. She was able to make it to church yesterday morning but it is just very difficult for her to deal with the pain. At least the nausea is not as bad as it was. Thank you all for your continued prayer and well wishes. |
