Praying for Michelle. Wow what a lot to deal with. I have a girl friend who was suffering from very similar issues a couple years ago and had a brain tumor that was removed successfully without any further issues. I just tried to call her and ask her where it was located, etc. - she wasn't home. She is also a nurse, formerly a surgical nurse. I will see if she can shed any light on Michelle's situation

Thanks you all for your prayers. Michelle talked to another doctor on the team today. He said now they are not sure the tumor is on the pineal gland but maybe a part of the brain below and left of it. Michelle asked if that meant it would be less serious or easier to get to and he just said not necessarily. He told her they just won't know anymore until the MRI is done. All we can do now is pray for good results.

How awful! I'm so sorry this is happening to your dtr. I would say what I think of hospitals that put $$$$$ ahead of a person's health or life, but I would get bleeped. I hate that this type of thing happens too often. My prayers are going out to your family.

I spoke to Michelle a little while ago and they did not do the MRI today. The doctor promised her they would do it tomorrow. Michelle has felt very bad today. They did draw more blood. Also yesterday the doctor told her from looking at the last scan they did, it looks like the tumor is not on the pineal gland but in a region of the brain below and to the left of the pineal gland. Michelle asked if that meant it would be easier to get to and his reply was not necessarily. Thank you all again for all your prayers. I just know our prayers will be answered.

Thank you for the update. Michelle has been in my thoughts and prayers today. So sorry for the delay in the MRI. Praying the results will give them a lot more information.

How far away are you from her?

PRAYING THIS IS OPERABLE and man - why are they waiting ? Are they THAT busy ? Bless her heart and yours too - the waiting must be excruxiating
