| You may find a lot of reputable breeders do not sell puppies during Christmas....encourages impulse purchases, or people that really dont want a pet and after a short time, it is old news and gets relinquished or ignored. Nt saying that is what you would do, but just saying why it may be difficult getting a puppy from a reputable breeder during the holidays. We just dont plan breedings so that babies go out at Christmas. We are more apt to have waiting lists where people are on a waiting list for a period of time....when they are patient enough to sit on a waiting list, they usually are really interested in getting a puppy and considerable thought and preparation has gone into the purchase of a puppy. |

| I had a Yorkie for 12 yrs and he passed away 5 yrs ago. My oldest daughter was 10 then and did not want another dog at that time. She has now been begging and I promised her once my little kids were all out of diapers then we would get one, well thats been a while and so I thought I would surprise them. Its definetly not a last minute decision, I just didn't realize that all the ads I was looking at were scams and it would be alot harder to find a good dog. I have found a reputable breeder out of New York Mistiblue yorkies and she has some available but I was hoping to avoid carrier fees and find one locally. |
