You may find a lot of reputable breeders do not sell puppies during Christmas....encourages impulse purchases, or people that really dont want a pet and after a short time, it is old news and gets relinquished or ignored. Nt saying that is what you would do, but just saying why it may be difficult getting a puppy from a reputable breeder during the holidays. We just dont plan breedings so that babies go out at Christmas. We are more apt to have waiting lists where people are on a waiting list for a period of time....when they are patient enough to sit on a waiting list, they usually are really interested in getting a puppy and considerable thought and preparation has gone into the purchase of a puppy.
