I have noticed that we have a lot of new members from central Texas or close by. Several of us are working on putting together central Texas yorkie meetups and would like to know who would be interested.

I'll start....

I'm Judy and my husband and I have a 10 month old puppy named Gizmo. We live in the Bellmead area (northern suburb of Waco).

I'm Michele and I have a 3 year old yorkie girl named Lacy. And I'm currently taking care of my parent's 3 year old yorkie boy named Rylie (not sure how long he'll be with me). I'm in College Station

Can I participate? I live in Midlothian in Ellis County just south of the metroplex.....Waco is a 45 minute drive for me. (And a trip to College Station is always great....as my dad is an Aggie graduate!)

I am Kristin and have 2 yorkies - Magic & Sailor and 2 silkies - Captain & Frankie.

By the way.....there is an upcoming AKC dog show at the end of March in Navasoto.....if anyone is interested. (I plan to attend and show Frankie.)

And I'm new here,, but i'm in Johnson County,, 75 miles north of Waco right up I-35W and I'm Mom/Pack Leader/Alpha Bitch! here,, for 3 young lady Yorkies,, and ,, then there is Hubby too! we bought his Harley in Waco, I'd be interested in this MEET idea! KEWL!

Hello everyone, My name is Mickie and I am mommy to Tinkerbell and Chiquito (maltese), I have 3 skin babies and a wonderful husband........We were brought to Central Texas by the military;)


We are 45 minutes away from Waco, and about 2 hours south of Dallas.

Navasota south of College Station??? I might definitely be interested in going! Is it going to be a pretty big show?

now i would LOVE to know more about this AKC show,, i've never been to one,, i watch them on Animal Planet all the time,, etc.. but would just LOVE to GO to one,, Details!! I need details,, as i am ignorant in their goings on! where,, when, can we bring our "babies" with us? or is it best to just go watch first? and March,, it could be a birthday present to myself!! Hi I'm Cynthia, proud mommy to 6 furbabies, 5 yorkies and 1 chihuahua/dachsaund mix, 3 boys, 3 girls : Nikki 10 yrs; Miko & Might, 6 yrs.; Prissie & Kylie, 5 yrs. and Max 1 yr.

We live in Bryan/College Station and would love to go to a meet-up in Central Texas.

We would also love to go to a dog show in Navasota. Me and some friends , MyFairLacy and Layla's Mom, went to the dog show in Houston last July, we were able to take our babies to that one, they just have to be UTD on their shots. We don't show, but we had fun, shopping and watching the yorkies shown.

I just wanted to say hi and that me and my 3 Yorkies are in Killeen. :aimeeyork We just wanted to say hi to anyone in the area an that we are glad there are other yorkie lovers around here!!!!!:animal-pa. I read from some oher people that there is going to be a dog show. can someone please give me details!!??

I live in the area of Texas called the big country. I'm 45 miles east of Abilene on I20. I'm not really in central texas now, but have lived all over the state.

I am in Midland, but would love to go to any roundup event in Texas. I have 2 yorkies, 1 girl and 1 boy. Please include me on any roundup. Would love to meet more people with these precious fur babies.

South Texas here...1 1/2 hours from Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Corpus.:D Not really central Texas...but ya know! I HAD to participate.;)

Im another Killeen /Fort hood Texan. I have Tank my 9 month old and Lana my 6 month old(from Littlebit Nancy). And My babies need to meet others. and I could use friends who dont think my "rats look stupid with bow and clothes". Great people Ive meet so far...

Austin TX here! Well, less than a mile from the border, but life is cheaper in Cedar Park (for the NON homeowner!)

I've only met a few other YT members in the area, but am always wanting to meet more!!!

T&T are both about 2.5 years old and we live in an apartment in Cedar Park with the BF.

Wow! A lot of people seem interested! Yay!! More yorkies to meet. :D I will let you all know when we have a place and a date for a Waco meetup.

I think Dogtopia is looking at mid-March. The owner really wants a yorkie meetup there, but they are still busy getting ready for their grand opening.

Anyone else interested? :D ;)

I would be. Waco isnt that far from us. My nieces and I love road trips!
