Can't believe I missed this thread. I've really got to get on the ball.

Anyway, I'm Nikki, and I'm from College Station. My baby is Cujo, and he'll be two years old in May. He needs some more yorkie friends!

If anyone wants ride share from Ft. Worth, would be happy to take you and your furbaby. They could play on the way to Waco. Since it is in thinking stage to have meet up, will have to make sure day will work first.:animal36

Jazzi is a 7mo old 3 3/4lb, male, maybe a girlfriend would be the best. or non aggressive male. Just let Jazzi and me know, as I hate giving more money to Fat Cats at Oil Co.

We haven't set up a central Texas meet up yet, but I promise to pm everyone in this thread when we do.

I'll go check and post back here, but there may be one in Oklahoma coming up soon and maybe one in Ft. Worth.

Well, phooey! lol! The Oklahoma meetup was yesterday, but...

There is a meetup on March 29th at 1pm at Southlake dog park. This is in....Dallas? It sounds like several YTers will be there. Check it out. :)

It's in Southlake ;) But it's kinda between Fort Worth and Dallas... north east of Fort Worth ;) Yes, we're gonna have a great time! Got several out-of-staters coming! YAY!

Sounds like a lot of fun! :)

I wish we had a dog park here. That's our only holdup to planning a meet up. Dogtopia will open soon and the owner and I have talked, but they are really busy getting ready to open right now.

Judy, I am busy for the next three weekends but I should have April 12 open and maybe that next weekend. I'll be getting ready for finals at the end of April. That first weekend in May would work for me too! I would love a central TX meetup!

I'm very interested in becoming a Yorkie breeder in this area. I'll be retiring from teaching and have a perfect setup for a yorkie nursery. I've had yorkies for 6years, nurtured 2 litters and love having babies. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get started in this venture?

First, welcome to YorkieTalk! I almost missed your post!:eek: You will get a lot of good help and advice if you post about this topic in the breeder section. What yorkies do you have now? Do you have photos? :D

Hey I am Suzanne. I live in Austin, Tx with CoCo. And my mom and Chloe her yorkie live in Southlake which is by dallas/Fort Worth. So i travel between Austin and Dallas a lot.

Nope, none are scheduled for central Texas yet that I know of. I promise to pm everyone on this thread when I have some info. Welcome!! :D

Please check the DFW threads though. They are very active and seem to have a meetup scheduled almost every month. :)

Howdy all!! I am from the Denison area. North of Dallas on OK border. I am a fairly new Yorkie owner. I have had my lil one, Pepper, for about 2 weeks now.
My b/f lives in SA, so I am always traveling from Denison to SA.

We are in Austin--I'm glad to see there are some Austin people here! Our first Yorkie is only 2 1/2 weeks old, so we won't get her until the end of July. But once we have her, we'd love to meet up with people! My bf and both went to law school in Waco and my parents live in DFW, so we're very familiar with I-35 :wink2:

Hi! I'm a little late but wanted to let you know I live in Houston, TX. I have 2 cutie pies Zander & Jazzie (I am itching for another one ;) ). I would loooove to go to a big TX meet up. Can we plan on one? It would be nice if it were somewhere air conditioned, with access to food and drinks :D, just sayin' . Outdoors with shade & breeze would be great too. Hmmm, where? When?
