| Which area are you in? My bf is in Monroe, and I use to live in Matthews, I was going to buy a yorkie from some lady up there, but fount out it was almost like a puppy mill. Be careful, and DON"T look for cheap prices, that means theres usualyl something fishy. I would expect to pay 800 and up. Welcome to YT! Hope I helped. PS: I search in the Charlotte Observor. |

| There's a website named www.tinypuppiesforyou.com that sells CKC registered yorkies. I know of several people who have purchased from her and been real pleased. At least I haven't heard anything bad about her.

| Ok, I would check your local newspaper. And since you are going to be spending a great deal of money, you should ask for references of ppl who have bought puppies from them in the past. Something I did. I got both of mine from the same breeder and very pleased!. |

| I am in the Raleigh area. I am hoping to have puppies next year, but we'll see. I just bought my second yorkie a little over a month ago and looked in the News and Observer for ads. There wasn't much in the local area. I will reiterate that you have to be REALLY careful for puppy mills! So, it is good that you want to buy one closeby because you can see the parents and see the conditions of the environment and decide if it is good or not. I don't know of any breeders in Raleigh, you will have to probably drive to a nearby town. Click here to search the classifieds of News and Observer for a yorkie. Good luck and let me know if you need any help!
