I am in the Raleigh area. I am hoping to have puppies next year, but we'll see. I just bought my second yorkie a little over a month ago and looked in the News and Observer for ads. There wasn't much in the local area. I will reiterate that you have to be REALLY careful for puppy mills! So, it is good that you want to buy one closeby because you can see the parents and see the conditions of the environment and decide if it is good or not. I don't know of any breeders in Raleigh, you will have to probably drive to a nearby town. Click
