| Bentley goes to A+ Grooming in Louisville. Kim, the owner, is fantastic. Everything is done in the open. When I go to get Bentley he is very calm and I have been very pleased with her. Quote:

| To blow dry a dog while in a cage is enough to traumatize/torture them. I better never hear of that at my groomer. What a horrible experience to put them through. As I said in an earlier post, A+ Grooming (Kim) is great.

| I checked with Petsmart last time I was in there about drying my dog in a cage. They don't do this to him and/or sedate him, as they told me. Plus he doesn't act that way either. Some dogs they have to cage when drying, but I forgot what type or the situation. Maybe when the owners are gone for a longer time than 2 hours, like if they drop off in am and pick up in late pm. I don't know. But I do know that I am happy with everyone there. |

| Sorry, but I do not know a good groomer in Lexington or London. If you are in Northern Ky., I can recommend a good one!

| Hi y'all! We are in Morehead, KY Just found and joined this site and it's super that there is a special thread just for us Kentuckians! I was just reading about the groomers and so far I have been grooming Hiro myself because I figured PetSmart is over an hour away and Hiro still gets car sick at 7 moths and didn't want to put him through the travel time until he gets older, I also use the Pedicure for his nails (and he always gets treats when we are all done! also known as bribery...LOL) |

| Yea! Spring is a-coming LOL! Aint that the truth! Today is the first actual nice day we've had this year. Spring is only two weeks away and my daffies, tulip and hyaciths are just poking their little selfs up out of the ground. Hiro just loves walking around the garden with me and he saw our litte pond for the first time...he barked at it!

| So happy to see all the new Kentucky members. Welcome. Just wanted to let you know that a Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky meet-up is being planned for May. It is probably going to be in Kentucky. Hope everyone will think about coming. They are really fun.

| To Micah's mom Hiro is my only yorkie but he has two other brothers, a Boston-Russel named StudMuffin Sam and a rottie named Hootie...but Hiro is my special boy and I am already planning on adding another pretty soon (yorkie, I mean), if he is an example, boy they are just coolest dogs ever. Makes me think of t-shirt that says: "If it's not a Yorkie, it's only a dog!" That Yorkie Met sounds like fun, where in Kentucky is it gonna be, I wonder. Hiro is 8 months old now, and the little demon chewed up my brand new shoes while my son an I went shopping today...then looked up at me like, '"WHAT!!" He's so darn cute, just have to re-buy some shoes tomorrow...LOL

I hope I will be able to attend. Maxwell is so lonely lately and wants 24/7 attention. I have been thinking about getting a pal for him, but not sure. | |
