I would love to host a meet up here in Cookeville TN. It would be great at Burgess Falls state park. Cookeville is located about half way between Knoxville and Nashville on I-40. Anyone interested?

I would love to do a meet-up kinda close to home (Maryville, TN). My little one only has her BIG sister to play with I don't know what she would do around someone her size!!! Isn't that funny?

I live in NW TN in Obion County. We've only been in the area for about a year or so now. We have three Yorkies. Would love to get together

I have a very large place in Obion, out in the country, so we wouldn't have to worry about a park with big dogs or reserving a space somewhere.
Anyone interested?

I am also looking to find a brother or sister to my 14 month old neutered male boy, my son Ollie.. if anyone local knows where I can find my little man a friend, that is not going to charge me an arm and a leg, let me know!

So excited to see so many ppl from the Knoxville area, I am a tansplant from MI...so dont know to many ppl.

I just lost

our Yorkie "Miss Annie" on 7/7/09. Our home was so empty but I could not get another Yorkie.
So I started doing some research on "Yorkie Rescue" & decided that might help to heal our broken hearts.

I got my "first foster", a Chorkie - half chihuahua, half yorkie, female, 7 yrs. She's on the independent side which is great, but does the chihuahua "shake" thing quite a bit. All I can do is to be kind to her & give her attention as she seeks it out. She's very sweet & a tiny little thing 4-5 lbs.
Does well w/cats or dogs. Would be perfect for an elderly
person (she came from an elderly person's home who got put in the nursing home & her four dogs DUMPED in a shelter, AWFUL for this tiny little shy dog!).

She is not crazy about walking but I do take her on walks around our farm. She doesn't like wet grass in the morning & evenings & won't stand still to poop, which means little pieces I must try to find if she happened to be in the grass. She actually prefers pooping up & down the sidewalk which is actually better for me since I can find it & dispose of it, no problem.

She does well w/other dogs & cats & she hasn't barked yet!

So other Yorkie owners are in the area!!! Trish
