My in-laws live in Jefferson City, as you know that's right outside of Knoxville (east). We adopted our yorkie, Sully, from a breeder that lives in Lafollette!

| Great!! I actually live in Morristown. We just moved here Jan 1st with my husbands job. He graduated ETSU in December. We are getting our very first yorkie in August from a breeder in Mississippi. We are supposed to go down and get her around the 4th. Where do you work in Johnson City?

| Oh gosh, Morristown is like 30mins from here. We should have a doggie playdate when you get your puppy! I write for the Johnson City Press....no specific beat outside of the lower court stuff, but I do general writing in the evenings, plus all the overflow of the office like briefs, obits and emergencies over the police scanner. It's fun for my 1st "real" job. What does your husband do? And where are you originally from?

| Yes we will definately have to do the doggie playdate! The thing I really hate around here is not knowing anyone. I am a stay at home mom to a little boy that just turned 1 on July 9th, so knowing people "from work" is not an option. My cousin does live in Strawberry Plains and I do things with his wife and son often. All mine and my husbands family are from Castlewood, VA. I'm not sure if you know where that is at. My husband works at Otics USA, a Japanese plant that manufactures parts for Toyota. He is in Maintenance, he has his bs degree in electrical engineering. What does your husband do? Do you have any children?

| I'm 23, will be 24 in October.....semi-newlywed, lol. My husband's name is Eli and he's 5 mo. older than me. He graduated with an Honors degree in Business Management and a 3.82 GPA. We were SURE he'd have no trouble getting a job straight out of college. Darnit. It's taking forever! I like my job but am trying not to get too attached b/c we need to move for his job.....because eventually I want HIM to have the out-of-home career and I want to be a stay at home mom. No kids for me yet, though Sully has been great "mommy training" for me. Eli is the oldest of 7 kids, and all of his fam is still in Jefferson City. His youngest brother just turned 8....so I don't think his family is ready to handle grandkids yet, LOL. My parents on the other hand, live in Charleston, SC and I only have 1 brother, Joel, who is almost 21. My husband and I LOVE kids but are trying to wait until we're seriously financially stable to start having children (like we could ever be ready tho right? lol) Must be a joy to have a 1yr old and watch all he has learned in the past year!!!!

| I live in Maryville and work in Knoxville. My Yorkie Gizmo is almost 12 yrs old. I have had him since he was 2 mos old. However, he has been blind (retinal atrophy) for about the last 6 yrs. But he does pretty good anyway, as long as you don't move the furniture around too much.
