Mississippi Yorkies? - Page 2 - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Wow! My thread has exploded without my knowledge. Welcome to all the new Mississippi/Lousiana YT'ers! I would love to do a meet up. So would south Mississippi be better for everyone or central MS? I know that here there is LeFleur's Bluff state park that is "dog friendly" (but we haven't been there yet) and then there is a park out by the Ross Barnett Reservoir where we go and take Jamie and there are lots of dogs out there with their families. And heck I live here in Madison and have a large fenced backyard so even if we just wanted to meetup at my house, I'm willing to arrange. We could do a potluck and I could make some "pupcakes" for the furbaby's. There are 2 REALLY cute doggie boutiques within 10 minutes of my house that might be willing to participate in a meetup. Just let me know whats good for ya'll!

Hey, we would love to meet for a play date.

My baby girl, dakota would love to have someone her size to play with, everyone from her puppy and cgc classes had a good 20 pounds or more on her, not that she noticed of course.

I know exactly where that is! I used to live in Tylertown many years ago - 1968-1972. My dad was the minister at New Zion Baptist Church. Not everyday you see mention of a place you used to live. ok... Misty... who are you??? My name is Barbara West... and I live at Lake Caroline.... I am 58 and have two yorkies.... Jessie who is 11 (six pounds) .. and Lacey who is nearly two ( 3 and a half pounds) ... a maltese Abigail (six pounds and 12 years old) .. Andy 10 years old.... an adorable accident from Abigail and Jessie .... Three Biewers .....Kylie (15 months and six pounds) Fancy ...she is nearly two and weighs 3 and a half pounds.... and Katey .. she is 10 months old and weighs a hefty TWO and a half pounds!!!!!!

We have fun at my house EVERY day!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to our thread! Its so nice to "meet" you. I promise I'm not a stalker! I just regularly run the members list by zip code (when I have time) so that I can be sure and welcome new Mississippi members. Since I live in Madison thats the first zip code I usually run.

WOW you have a lot of babies! It does sound like so much fun at your house. We would love to see their pictures. Let me know if you need help posting them. I have 1 yorkie, a little boy named Jamie who turned 1 year old yesterday.

This year the meetup will be in Alexandria, VA and I was chosed to be on the planning team! YAY! I would love for all of my fellow Mississippians to be able to come. We are driving and would love to do like a Yorkie Train all the way to VA. If anyone plans on going and driving let me know.

Well, I am technically Louisiana (bc I live on the northshore of New Orleans) butttttt I am only 15 minutes from Picayune.

. Gulfport is only about an hour away......so if any of you want to meet up....I am kinda an in betweener here
