Hooray! I put my thinking cap on and figured out how to use my paypal account and just now sent in my donation! I am happy to be a donating member of the wonderful yorkie-lovers site!

Well congratulations!! Shouldn't take you long at all. I think I donated on a weekend and it took a couple of days. But Admin is really prompt. (I always say that I forget that Admin is a real person with a real life and doesn't sit around waiting for me to make my milestones. ;) ) I'm betting you'll be acknowledged tomorrow!!

Thanks...........Stupid question but how will I know that it has been taken care of.....do they sent you something? Where do I need to be looking for it at? Sorry for all the questions............

No problem!! They'll send you a "Thank you for Donating" private message. It will be in your UCP (user control panel) or you'll get an email if you're set up to receive messages that way. You'll be an old hand at this before you know it.

Thanks so much for your help. I will be checking my pm and also my e-mail address. My goal is to be able to be in the next GE, I believe I read that they have the GE 4 times a year...........

Layla's Mom, I might add it takes longer if you wrote a check....another place you can watch is under your Avatar and the Donating Member script may go up before your email.

I'm sure there is!! I looked through the Donations thread (Under Donations in the top menu bar) but I didn't see any address, but they may not want to publish it. I would PM Admin and ask them if there is one.

I pay my check. email adm that you would like to pay by check and he will give you the address and who to make it out to. Be sure to include your sign in name here at yorkie talk. Joan

In order to be eligible for the YT GE, do I have to donate $25 all at once or can I donate $10 then a few weeks later $15? TIA!!:D

Yes, a combined donation of $25 or more will allow you to participate in the YT Gift Exchanges. Thanks!

LOL - Here is Peanut's thread. You can PM her and ask if she'll make you one. (One of these days, she's going to tell us to quit giving her away!) There are a couple of others that make them too, but I can't remember who. They'll always pop in and volunteer too!

Thanks so much..I would rather some one pop up and offer first...I hate to bother some one too much...

But if I get no offers then I will have to break down...I do not even know what I need to have for a person to help me..lol

So knowing what I need to have handy would be a great help...

Well, you can make a regular avatar yourself by just downloading a picture. Peanut (etc.) can make you the rotating kind. For that you'll need several pictures.

For a starter avatar read the section "How do I get a picture under my user name" in this thread.....
