I am so glad to see these threads! I was getting frustrated with all the Vote for Me threads clogging the New Posts listings. Admin did a good job of moving them but soem were tricky with the wording of their Subject line.

The first time I posted to a thread that gave the contest link and said that anyone else wanting to ask for votes should use the official vote thread in off topic, I wound up getting a PM'd and then accused of harassing the person who started the thread. My post was not even to her but those who might want to follow up and ask for their own votes. I voted for everyone for awhile but eventually avoided the voting threads altogether.

I think putting the vote link in the signature line is excellent! A quick click on the link, vote, and back to the thread you were reading! Great idea Capt! I guess that's PirateSense!

I wasn't aware of this , it is really my first time getting my dogs into picture contest I though it was a fun thing to do ......I was not really into being crazy about votes to win , I totally understand how can it get so ouf of control /annoying by so many members posting and asking for votes, I didn't even had an idea this was going on ........ I'm so guilty of posting a voting Thread and I'm reporting myself , here is a link so this thread can be deleted.
