Unfortunatly its not just the news here , its the daily news as well, its just the way of the world today!! If we all chose not to watch the news and learn about the wrongs of what people are doing we would all be uneducated as to what is really happening around us and NO ONE would be able to " fix it" ! I hate reading these stories as well..... most turn my stomach but if I didnt watch them I would be blind to the sick people who live among us!! If I was not wise to my surroundings then I would not reconize what was wrong or know what to be aware of...

I generally don't read those stories, or to be honest, much news at all. I personally don't like to read about things I can't do anything about, because it depresses me, and that just adds more misery to the world. I believe in acting locally in my own small way by volunteering and giving to charity. I don't disagree with people who do read a lot of news, just giving my own take.

Like other people have suggested, I go straight to the forums and skip over the front page. I usually don't look in the articles section.

Admin once said that threads relating to the GE could be blocked, so perhaps this could be done on request for the articles section as well?
